CSEE plays a vital role by promoting ecology and evolution in Canada and facilitating communication amongst its members. We aim for the broadest possible membership. If you support our objectives, we urge you to become a member.

Membership benefits include discounted registration for the annual conference; access to member-only mailouts, conference awards, webinars, and workshops; support from Canadian Science Publishing for new collections and symposium proposals; opportunities to post positions on our job board; engagement in council activities; and eligibility for funding to support outreach initiatives and regional conferences.

Membership dues are used to cover the costs of the society’s business, running meetings, supporting targeted workshops, giving travel grants and prizes to students, and publishing policy statements and other documents to improve the communication of our work. CSEE membership coincides with the calendar year (January – December). Dues are $65 per year for regular members and $30 per year for students and post-doctoral fellows. Lifetime membership is $2000 and is a great way to provide long-term support for the society. The easiest way to join is to use the PayPal link below.
