We aim for the broadest possible membership. If you support our <a href=\"https:\/\/csee-scee.ca\/\">objectives<\/a>, we urge you to become a member.<\/p><p><strong>Membership benefits<\/strong> include discounted registration for the annual conference; access to member-only mailouts, conference awards, webinars, and workshops; support from <a href=\"https:\/\/cdnsciencepub.com\/do\/10.1139\/news.2025.02.07\/full\/\">Canadian Science Publishing<\/a> for new collections and symposium proposals; opportunities to post positions on our job board; engagement in council activities; and eligibility for funding to support outreach initiatives and regional conferences.<\/p><p><strong>Membership dues<\/strong> are used to cover the costs of the society\u2019s business, running meetings, supporting targeted workshops, giving travel grants and prizes to students, and publishing policy statements and other documents to improve the communication of our work. CSEE membership coincides with the calendar year (January \u2013 December). Dues are $100 per year for regular members and $15-$50 per year for students and post-doctoral fellows. Lifetime membership is $2000 and is a great way to provide long-term support for the society. The easiest way to join is to use the PayPal link below. You can also pay by personal cheque, payable to CSEE, and sent to the <em><a href=\"mailto:finances@csee-scee.ca\">Treasurer<\/a> or <a
