Support is available for a postdoctoral position at Dalhousie University (Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada) for research on the genomics of commercially exploited marine fishes. The successful candidate will have a background in bioinformatics and genomics, including genome assembly, and will be co-supervised by Paul Bentzen (email@example.com) and Daniel Ruzzante (firstname.lastname@example.org; http://ruzzante.ca ). The project will involve collaboration with Fisheries and Oceans, Canada (DFO).
The position is available for 2 years, starting as soon as a suitable candidate is found. The successful candidate will hired for one year, renewable for the second year pending satisfactory performance.
